A mountain, possibly Mt. Fuji, with water and flowers is hand painted on a brilliant blood red slubby silk hankie. There is a marking at the center that is probably the artist’s signature.
Probably a souvenir hanky from Japan. Late WWII era – late 1940s to early 1950s.
Measures 13 1/4" square.
Excellent condition. Very crisp and clean .
