An autobiography of Elizabeth Keckley who was born a slave in the south, purchased freedom for herself and her son, and became Mary Todd Lincoln’s seamstress.  A period historical account of the Civil War period.

 

This book is in fine / mear mint condition.  It is still covered with the original plastic cover and has never been opened.  The plastic wrap on the back has torn and there is a light scratch on the back, which likely occurred when the plastic wrap was torn.  Otherwise, in completely mint condition.  This book is being sold AS IS.
