Don’t you just love vintage fabrics, with all their bright, bold colors and designs? This is a great set of retro kitchen or cottage curtains with big, red wild roses as the central motif. The center of each rose is bright yellow and the leaves are two-tone green.
There are two curtain panels, made of vintage feed or flour sacks, that were once upon a time made into curtains by an industrious women in the 1940s. The long sides are machine hemmed, the bottom has a turned up 2” hem and the top has curtain rod pockets. Each panel measures 18” wide and 36” long.
Use the two panels just as they are – as vintage kitchen curtains, or use them more creatively for pillows or a bolster for shabby chic and cottage décor. Each panel has two full pattern repeats.
In as found condition – very clean and bright with no holes or tears. One curtain panel does have a couple of very light spots – I missed them the first couple of times I inspected them! Priced to reflect this very minor imperfection because … well, I’m up to my ears in ironing and I’m tired!
