This pin cushion dates to around the turn-of-the-century and was made for the booming tourist trade by the Iroquois and/or Seneca Indian tribes in New York. A beautiful piece of craft, with its clear and pale turquoise colored beads, it features a red velvet center with the words From Niagara Falls. in light green colored beads.
In very good condition with some bead loss to the edging (see photos).
