This is a very nice example of an Uhl liquor container jug, complete with hard to find pottery stopper. The glaze is the tan / brown brindle over white, with a white glazed stopper. Uhl crème de coffee jugs are hard to find with the pottery stopper.
Measures 8" high. With the stopper in place, add just over an half inch more.
The condition of this item is in very good +++ condition. There is a very small chip or nick on the lip and a manufacturing glaze skip in the center front. This is a sound and beautiful piece of Uhl pottery from Huntingburg, Indiana.
