This remarkable oak bed frame in the Gothic Revival style, likely dates to the mid-19^th century, and is probably English.

Style features are the barley twist corner posts and the fabulous linen fold design that spans both the head and foot boards.  A row of quatrefoil roses decorate the upper edge of the headboard.  All four bed posts have beautifully carved finials.  The backs of both the headboard and the footboard are carved with plain panels.

Also included are the two oak side rails.
